Hello again all! Just a quick one to share this warm and welcoming pick from another new storytelling night in Sussex. The Mid Sussex Storytelling Club opened on 25th Feb at TOM’S FOOD in Cuckfield, nr Hayward’s Heath – and a fantastic night it was too. Cracking storyteller and host Jason Buck took this fun shot; lined up along the right-hand wall you’ll see me with my good mates Simon Russell (my comrade on the Njord and Skadi comic), Mark Wilson (double bass supremo and my comrade on the Unmet Needs album) and Amy Sutton (of the glorious Bard & Troubadour and January’s New-Storytelling-Night-in-Sussex, Worthing Storytellers).
Jason is touring his show Stories of the Vikings at the moment, so if you want Norse myths well-told look him up! And watch out for future Mid Sussex Storytelling nights, because it was brilliant and well worth a visit.
