If you should wend your way through the woods of the Weald on an early evening in December – say, on Sat 7th Dec – you might find a friendly group of buildings by a turn in a lane; and around them you might see a lovingly-kept garden nursery; and inside the first building, you might find a hot fire in a glowing stove; and you could snuggle up out of the cold and the wet, with mulled wine and tasty treats; and there you would find me, telling stories of winter nights and glittering magic…
