I did an interview recently for the fantastic Crecganford YouTube channel! You can watch it below. We had a great time chatting about the possible prehistoric beliefs behind British and Irish medieval tales: I got to share some of my speculations about the roots of British Isles folklore, and along the way we had a good stir of the cultural mix that makes our stories, covering Alan Garner, the Uffington White Horse, archaeological evidence, Welsh lake maidens and the Sussex water monsters called knuckers…!
