First gigs of the autumn!

Hi all! How are you doing? I hope you’re doing okay and finding plenty to keep you cheery. I’ve had a wonderful rest over August – although I’ve fitted in some interesting visits to locations of stories AND contributed to a very interesting lefty heritage/local history project, both of which I shall post about asap…!

BUT: for now! I find myself back into the “new season” of gigs (as autumn always feels to me) with two exciting things in the diary!

FIRSTLY: Into the Trees, the magical family weekend at Pippingford Park in the highlands of Ashdown Forest, taking place 10th-12th Sep. I’m really looking forward to getting back to this beautiful location and soaking up the sense of all things WOODLAND – while telling loads of stories to suit the occasion. I believe I’m doing several sets throughout the day on the Sunday, so I’ll look forward to seeing you there!

And SECONDLY: an online performance of Chasing the Sun, my set of stories and thoughts about the White Horse near Uffington, Wiltshire. Inspired by my recent interview for the Creganford Youtube channel, I’m returning to these stories after a year or so, digging into the potential prehistoric past behind both this landmark and a number of folk tales and myths from Britain and beyond. Tickets for this Zoom show are on sale here!

I have more news to share too, so will post again soon. All the best with everything, and speak to you then!
